SCULPTRA
Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen—the most common protein in the body that is used to form a framework to support cells and tissue.
It is a type of dermal filler that is used to smooth fine lines and deep wrinkles on the face and other parts of the body. It is made of poly-L-lactic acid, which stimulates collagen production in the skin for results that can last up to two years.

Preparing for Your Visit

Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to any event/vacation. Redness, swelling, and bruising can be apparent during that time.

Sculptra FAQ

How is Sculptra different from Hyaluronic Acid filler?
-
Hyaluronic acid filler is a gel-like substance that volumizes and gives immediate results that last on average 9-12 months. Sculptra is a collagen stimulator with results appearing gradually over the treatment regimen. You will see a natural filling effect for the first few days followed by a decrease in volume. At this point, the body slowly starts to produce collagen. This helps restore volume that has been lost over time.
How does Sculptra work?
-
Sculptra Aesthetic is made with a biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist. Over time, Sculptra Aesthetic helps the body reproduce lost collagen.
When will I see the results?
-
Noticeable results are usually visible within 3-4 months.
How long do results last?
-
Results can last up to 2-3 years.
How many treatments will I need?
-
The number of treatments varies from person to person depending on how much collagen is lost. On average 3-4 treatments are needed. Treatments are recommended every 6-8 weeks.
Will I need time to recover?
-
Bruising is possible. We recommend planning your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to any special event/vacation.
