Spring Skincare Tips

Spring is here, and with it comes the opportunity to refresh your skincare routine. As the weather warms up and the humidity returns, it's time to make some changes to your skincare regimen to keep your skin healthy and glowing.



Here are seven tips we recommend to help you revamp your skincare routine this spring:

  1. Calling for a cleanser shift

    1. Switch to a gentler water-based cleanser that won't strip your skin of natural oils. This is especially important as the weather warms up, as harsh cleansers can dry out your skin and cause irritation. Our favorite right now is the cooling Lytic Gel Cleanser.

  2. Switch up your moisturizers

    1. Swap out your heavy winter moisturizer for a lighter water-based formula. This will help keep your skin hydrated without feeling greasy or heavy. Look for ingredients like hyaluronic acid, which can help lock in moisture without clogging pores. This light moisturizer is #1 in our lineup right now.

  3. Add in some gentle exfoliation

    1. Exfoliate once a week using a gentle acidic exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. This can help prevent breakouts and keep your skin looking fresh and radiant.

  4. Sunscreen is back

    1. But of course, it never should have left! Wear SPF every day to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Even on cloudy days, UV rays can still penetrate the skin and cause damage. Look for a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 - and yes, you’ll need more than just what’s in your foundation. This tinted shield is our go-to for spring.

  5. Stay hydrated

    1. Make sure that you’re drinking plenty of water! You may want to consider adding some electrolyte-rich drinks like coconut water or cucumber-infused water to your routine. This can help keep your skin plump and hydrated from the inside out.

  6. Antioxidant time

    1. Eat foods high in antioxidants like berries, leafy greens, nuts, and dark chocolate. Antioxidants can help protect your skin from free radical damage and keep it looking youthful.
